Question 1

What are your lead times?

Accepted Answer

For sintered NdFeB, samples take 10 to 15 days, or 20 to 25 days with testing, and production takes 30 to 35 days. Urgent orders are handled by arrangement. Other materials, injection-molded magnets and assemblies are scheduled in the quotation. Each quotation confirms the schedule for the actual part, including any export licence step and transit.

Question 2

What is your minimum order quantity (MOQ)?

Accepted Answer

No fixed minimum for sintered NdFeB; the quotation sets it per part, by grade, size and weight. Other materials and assemblies are quoted the same way.

Question 3

How long does it take to get a quote?

Accepted Answer

We respond within 1 business day and provide pricing within 2 business days for standard requests. If a custom part needs further engineering review, we confirm the next steps and expected quotation date in our reply.

Question 4

Can you provide prototypes before committing to production?

Accepted Answer

We can review a prototype or sample request before production. Send the drawing, quantity and evaluation requirements. Availability, tooling, price and delivery timing are confirmed in the quotation.

Question 5

What information do you need for a quote?

Accepted Answer

Please send the material or performance requirement, dimensions and tolerances, magnetisation direction, coating, quantity and operating conditions. Include any documentation or inspection requirements. A PDF or STEP drawing helps us review a custom part.

Question 6

What NdFeB grades do you manufacture?

Accepted Answer

Our sintered NdFeB range is N30 to N56, with no AH grades. The top grade depends on the temperature series: N56, N54M, N52H, N52SH, N50UH and N45EH. Grades up to N52SH can be made without a Chinese export licence, so we offer those first; UH and EH grades need a licence, applied for per order. Grade, series, geometry and operating conditions are confirmed together against the drawing. The summary does not establish every grade in every ring construction.

Question 7

What is GBD and why should I care?

Accepted Answer

Grain boundary diffusion introduces material from treated surfaces to increase resistance to demagnetisation. In a reported N45H specimen comparison using a 0.35% Tb surface coating, Hcj increased from 17.67 to 26.55 kOe; Br changed from 13.62 to 13.61 kGs. This sample result does not establish a motor-performance or material-cost saving for another part.

Question 8

What shapes and sizes can you produce?

Accepted Answer

We review discs, blocks, rings, arc segments and custom profiles against the drawing. The documented radial-ring window is OD 20 to 75 mm, ID 15 to 68 mm, wall 2 to 7 mm and height 5 to 50 mm. Not every combination of these limits is feasible; integrated Halbach dimensions require separate review.

Question 9

Can you magnetize to custom patterns?

Accepted Answer

Axial, diametral, radial and multipole patterns can be reviewed for the proposed material and geometry. Send the pole count, field requirement and orientation. The material orientation and magnetising fixture must both suit the required pattern.

Question 10

Do you supply assembled components or just raw magnets?

Accepted Answer

We review loose magnets and magnetic assemblies, including rotor assemblies, against the drawing. Agree the assembly interfaces, retention method, magnetisation state and inspection requirements before production.

Question 11

What is the maximum operating temperature for your magnets?

Accepted Answer

Temperature suffixes are material reference classes, not an allowable service temperature for every part. Selection depends on the magnetic circuit, geometry, opposing field and the applicable demagnetisation curves at temperature. Send the continuous and peak temperatures with your drawing for review.

Question 12

What quality certifications do you hold?

Accepted Answer

Certificates apply to the named production entity and the activities stated on the certificate. Ask us for the current certificate and scope applicable to the proposed production route, including automotive requirements. Mainrich company-level or network-wide certification should not be inferred from a plant record.

Question 13

How do you ensure consistent quality?

Accepted Answer

The quotation and agreed control plan define the dimensional, magnetic and coating checks, sampling, acceptance criteria and shipment records for the part. Historical sample reports are available as reference evidence; they are not guarantees for other parts or production runs.

Question 14

Are your magnets RoHS and REACH compliant?

Accepted Answer

Please specify the requirements for the magnet and coating in your RFQ. Applicable declarations and test evidence are confirmed for the proposed material and order. A historical sample test does not establish current compliance for every product or coating.

Question 15

Can you provide full traceability?

Accepted Answer

Please include your lot identification, traceability and record-retention requirements in the RFQ. We agree the available records and retention period for the production route before the order.

Question 16

Do you support PPAP submissions?

Accepted Answer

Include the required PPAP level, submission elements and customer requirements in the RFQ. The production route, available documentation and submission scope are confirmed for the programme.

Question 17

How do you ship magnets safely?

Accepted Answer

Packing and shielding are selected for the fully packed consignment. Air-freight assessment measures the external magnetic field at specified distances from the package. The forwarder confirms the applicable classification, carrier acceptance, markings and documentation for the route.

Question 18

Can you ship by air?

Accepted Answer

Air shipment is subject to the packed-consignment field assessment and carrier acceptance. Send the part, quantity and destination so packaging, transport classification and shipping options can be confirmed.

Question 19

What shipping terms do you offer?

Accepted Answer

Incoterms, delivery location, payment terms and freight arrangements are agreed in the quotation. Please include your destination and any nominated forwarder in the RFQ.
